Rainbow in my sky

Rainbow fascinated me at times,

sometimes evoked long forgotten memories of childhood,

but just looked up to it as a part of clouds and skies.

yet I know, after rains its appearance gives a colorful sky;

though motionless, this multicolored arch adds a charm to the clouds,

and like an illusion it elicits the minds of children around,

but never thought so much about it in anyway

that I would be writing these words about any of the rainbows.

                          And now I am just doing it…

I am doing it because I am thinking about you,

I don’t know the actual reason,

or maybe just like how you bring out true colors in my smiles,

you are a rainbow in my very own sky.

yes! you are my only beautiful rainbow.

Aaj phir se jeene ki tamanna hai…

...thik waise hi mausam,

kahin saare gaane,

kabhi kahin waise hi hawa,

waise hi khushboo,

phir le aati hai, un pallon ko,

aaj phir se jeene ki tamanna hai.

waise hi subah,

aur raat ki waise hi "dinner ke baad walk",

waise hi dhup,

phir wahi chandni,

phir le aati hai, un baaton ko,

aaj phir se jeene ki tamanna hai.

humara woh andaaz,

apni woh khushiyan,

waise hi kahin dekhun toh,

phir le aati hai, apna woh laundo wali baat,

aaj phir se jeene ki tamanna hai.

wahi school ki zindagi,

friday ki woh "fried rice ki bhukh",

juniors ki woh "anna wali respect",

sundays ki casual dress mein "sakht wali feelings",

waise hi kahin mehsoos karoon toh,

aaj phir se jeene ki tamanna hai...

Words by a successful Procrastinator.

It's all about how you inspire yourself,

May it be your excuses or may it be your fears.

Just believe in the beliefs of motivating self,

Remember, it's fine to lose some countless tears.

Let your excuses be still yours,

But let it be a struggle you are in today,

May they procrastinate "the won'ts" with them;

Dare to look to all the doors,

And let your excuses make all the differences.

Excuses can be dithering,

But use them as your stepping stones instead.

Here you are, setting your personal principle,

Let those excuses take you to the highest that is in you,

Remember, your goals don’t care how you feel,

So, put no limits on the dreams and excuses which you please.

Yes! excuses can be positive too,

Let the thought of why you started be the reason.

To make it in some way with what you have,

To whisper it to yourself each season.

And may those excuses courage you up to ruin your fears.

You decided and started,

Commit more with every excuses you make,

Work harder and be original,

Don’t stop until you are proud

And let your success be your noise.

At last, say; I did or make another excuse instead,

And that’s another level of ending your story.

A Painful Shade

With scattered blue, blended with red and yellow,

the skyline appeared marvelous and scary.

the sun slowly touched the line in the west;

And while watching the horizon far away there,

even trying to hold the sun from being set,

a sudden gentle breeze cleared its way through.

My eyes blinked, leaves above me rustled;

made me realize the presence of a tree beside me.

Instinct at that moment reminded me of you,

consciously I laid down;

with eyes opened to the red blossoms above me,

pretty and wonderful as that of your beautiful lips.

The branches and the leaves gave ways to the breeze,

like your arms which I would always embrace for a warm hug.

Those tender florets and little twigs ,

reminded me of the freshness that your cute smiles always had.

That peaceful huge shade caused me to feel ;

those truest emotions we had,

those unintentional concern for each other,

those faithful seekings for each other's eyes,

that unconditional love we shared.

when realizations set in,

I was under a beautiful Gulmohar tree at its bloom of youth;

and instead of the shade that calms the mind and gives peaceful environment,

It gave me a painful and emotional one.
