Rainbow in my sky

Rainbow fascinated me at times,

sometimes evoked long forgotten memories of childhood,

but just looked up to it as a part of clouds and skies.

yet I know, after rains its appearance gives a colorful sky;

though motionless, this multicolored arch adds a charm to the clouds,

and like an illusion it elicits the minds of children around,

but never thought so much about it in anyway

that I would be writing these words about any of the rainbows.

                          And now I am just doing it…

I am doing it because I am thinking about you,

I don’t know the actual reason,

or maybe just like how you bring out true colors in my smiles,

you are a rainbow in my very own sky.

yes! you are my only beautiful rainbow.

Hey! You're a role model too.

 

We, the humans advance by imitations;

we all go through a number of phases,

from stage to stage,

and we call it , Life.

As natural learners, our childhood taught us many a things,

from the way people treat us,

to what we saw and hear,

we never stop copying and thus, learning.

But once we learned about power,luxury,values and prices;

we become artificial learners not natural,

And eventually sometimes, we end up like pathetic failures.

So,even being an artificial learner,be careful with your moves;

Because, Like how we see up to our role models,

You're also being watched,

You're also being copied.

As somebody is learning from you,

Keep reminding yourself that,

You're a role model too.

Sky of Emotions

At darker part of the twilight,

before the stars conquer the skies;

I dare to take one more step ahead

I am afraid, I wouldn’t be able to open up;

but my words of truth would be told.

At this onset of the night,

Before the moon finally sets its majesty;

I dare another step, with a pulse skipped,

Wish my words tinkle chandeliers on her forehead.

I, an inch away from you,

dare to ink this onto your heart,

"May these stars hear the words,

May the brightness of moon witness the emotions,

Let the echoes of my whisper fill the skies;

I Love you and my  heart beats for you."
